A fire fighter in Ventura, California faked a fire at their house to set a scene for him to propose to his girlfriend. The proposal happened back in November as the couple was getting prepared to host a holiday party at their home. Thirty-year-old, Zach Steele, thought it would be funny to plant six remote-operated smoke machines in their attic before “going last-minute grocery shopping”. Steele went a little over-board with the smoke machines because tons of smoke came out of the house sending his girlfriend, Maddison Ridgik, into a panic. Maddison’s mom was in on the prank and fake called 911 which gave the signal for Steele and his co-workers to ride to the rescue in full gear.
