It’s kind of crazy to think that you can play in the World Series, but you still arent old enough to drink. That’s exactly what Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals is going through right now. Last night following the Nationals 7-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals, Soto posted a funny photo from the locker room of him holding two bottles of Welch’s Sparkling Grape Juice with the captions, “Celebrate” and “Finally can drink”. Juan Soto turns 21 later this month on October 25th.

The win last night for the Washington Nationals was on the right arm of Stephen Strasburg who’s spent his entire career in D.C. Strasburg struck out 12 Cardinal batters over 7 innings giving up 7 hits, but zero earned runs. It was a special moment for the pitcher who doesn’t get overly emotional and that’s why his hug with teammate Geraldo Parra looked very awkward. Then it turned into a group hug and it was kind of heartwarming.
Brothers don’t shake hands.
