On Tuesday night James Harden scored 50 points but the two points that he missed proved the most costly for the Houston Rockets. Harden picked off a pass and broke all alone to the basket for an easy dunk in the fourth quarter against the San Antonio Spurs. He threw the ball down, but it ricocheted back up above the rim and if you weren’t watching closely you can see it didn’t go through all the way. Harden actually did get the basket, but he was wasn’t awarded any points.

Officials say that it didn’t clear the cylinder at the time and after the game crew chief James Capers admitted to a pool reporter postgame that it was a blown call, but the Rockets could’ve challenged the play if they weren’t “protesting the call, trying to get clarification of it.”
