AVENGED SEVENFOLD singer M. SHADOWS has been working with SLASH on a song for the guitarist's solo album.  Writing on the Avenged Sevenfold website, he says, "it's a killer track and [Slash] plays some of the most technical stuff I've ever heard from him."  Shadows doesn't go into any more detail, though, instead telling fans "it's his record and not mine, more updates will have to come from him."

Avenged Sevenfold will play festivals in Ireland and The U.K. next month before returning home and starting work on a new album.
