JACK WHITE turns down SLASH

SLASH got a lot of his friends to play on his upcoming solo album, but not everyone he asked said yes. FLEA, ALICE COOPER and DAVE GROHL are among the artists who are reportedly set to appear on next year's Slash and Friends album, but the guitarist recently told MusicRadar.com that he asked JACK WHITE to sing on the record, but was turned down. He said White did offer to play on the record but just wasn't comfortable with lending his voice to the project.
