Matt Cooke is in the middle of another injury controversy. As he skated into the corner with with the Senators Erik Karlsson, his left skate lifted up and hit Karlsson's left ankle. At first, it didn't look too bad (other than the screaming.) Then Erik took one stride toward the bench and the pain come pouring back. Cooke's skate severed Karlsson's Achilles's tendon, putting him out indefinitely.
