THE DEAD DEADS – TELL YOUR GIRLS IT’S ALRIGHT

Up and coming trio, The Dead Deads who have generated a good amount of buzz as a band that you need to see live if you get the chance. They even include a section on their website of endorsements from their heroes.

One such champion of the band is Corey Taylor of Stone Sour and Slipknot, who co-wrote and appears on the Tell Your Girls It’s Alright single “Murder Ballad II”.

METALLICA – THE METALLICA BLACKLIST

Along with the 30th anniversary reissue of their self-titled album, comes the anticipated release of The Metallica Blacklist.

The “black album” tribute sees the album’s 12 tracks covered by 53 different artists that’s available digitally, as a four CD set, and a limited edition 7 LP set. Proceeds from the tracks will be split between Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation and to a charity of each artist’s choice. The track list includes:

THE LUCID – MAGGOT WIND

After teasing something called The Lucid on social media, former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has revealed it to be the name of his new band.

The Lucid features Ellefson on bass, Vinnie Dombroski of Sponge on vocals, Drew Fortier on lead guitar, and Mike Heller of Fear Factory on drums. Their self-titled debut is out October 15.
