As the title of the new album suggests, The Thief & The Heartbreaker (Reimagined) is a new reimagining of Alberta Cross‘ 2007 debut album.
The re-recording of The Thief & The Heartbreaker features special guests on every track including appearances from Band of Skulls, Joseph Arthur, Ed Harcourt, James Walsh of Starsailor, Dylan Leblanc and more.

ISOBEL CAMPBELL & MARK LANEGAN – BALLAD OF THE BROKEN SEAS
Originally released in 2006, the Mercury Music Prize-nominated Ballad of the Broken Seas was the first of three collaborative albums from Isobel Campbell (ex-Belle & Sebastian) and the late Mark Lanegan (ex-Screaming Trees/QOTSA/Gutter Twins). The duo’s debut album is being reissued this week, and will be pressed on vinyl for the first time.

U2 – HOW TO RE-ASSEMBLE AN ATOMIC BOMB
The latest release from U2 is the compilation “shadow” album, How To Re-Assemble An Atomic Bomb, which contains 10 previously unreleased songs which were recorded during the sessions for their 20-year-old eleventh studio album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.

Transa is the latest compilation from the activist/non-profit music production label Red Hot Organization.
RHO had a Gold-selling hit with the 1993 compilation No Alternative which featured Soul Asylum, Beastie Boys, The Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Nirvana and many more, which raised awareness and money for AIDS relief.
This year’s 46-song Transa compilation raises awareness of trans rights and is a “celebration of the trans community” with contributions from many artists including Sam Smith, Wendy & Lisa of The Revolution, Laura Jane Grace, Sade, Adrianne Lenker, Alan Sparhawk of Low, Julien Baker, Fleet Foxes and Jeff Tweedy of Wilco.
