A St. Petersburg man, dressed in a full jester costume, was arrested for felony assault after allegedly threatening a landscaper with a 12-inch dagger. Upset with the noise from the worker’s lawn mower, 51-year-old Anthony Marzola reportedly retrieved the blade from his car and advanced on the worker, yelling and pointing the weapon. The landscaper used his mower to create a barrier, and the incident was witnessed by a neighbor. Marzola, who operates a smoke shop called “Psychedelic Jester,” was booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with a bond set at $15,000.
It seems this jester’s idea of a court-side seat was a little different than expected.
