Richy Arredondo, a minor league umpire with an apparent flair for the dramatic, ejected three members of the Quad Cities River Bandits during a single inning.
The chaos began when he tossed catcher Canyon Brown for an unapproved mound visit, followed by manager Jesus Azuaje for passionately arguing a passed ball call.
Not content with just two ejections, Arredondo also ejected the ballboy who made a quip to the umpire while delivering new baseballs.
The announcer, stunned, confirmed the unprecedented ejection, cementing Arredondo’s Thursday night performance as a legendary display of umpire power gone hilariously awry.
