A couple’s wedding ceremony in San Diego was nearly interrupted when a group of pole dancers began practicing just a few yards from the altar.
Kaylee Boots Lautz, 25, and her husband-to-be, Garreth, 26, were preparing for their ceremony with 150 guests at The Dana On Mission Bay when the unusual scene unfolded. Luckily, the venue’s wedding coordinators “kindly asked” the dancers to move from the public walkway, and they agreed.
Kaylee, a registered nurse from Los Angeles, was unaware of the situation until after the ceremony and found it hilarious, expressing gratitude that she wasn’t told beforehand, as she “would have been stressed.” She even joked that she wished she could have invited the dancers to the reception.
