Seventy-year-old Carla Well-Knight is currently battling an aggressive form of breast cancer, but she still manages to make time for a series of generous acts at her senior living center in Mesa, Arizona. Carla was recently gifted floor seats to see her favorite band, Nine Inch Nails, during their Peel It Back Tour stop in Phoenix on September 16, thanks to her caretaker’s nomination to AARP’s Wish of a Lifetime program. A devoted fan who proudly sports a tattoo of NIN’s logo, Carla cherished the opportunity to experience the concert up close. “I believe that the more that you give, the more that you get back, always,” said Carla, whose inspiring story was captured in an ABC news TikTok video. The clip includes photos of her enjoying the NIN show, which took place days before Trent Reznor and company brought their tour to a close with a two-night stand in Los Angeles on September 18-19.
