AT THE GATES – THE GHOST OF A FUTURE DEAD
Serving as a poignant final tribute to vocalist Tomas Lindberg, who passed away in late 2025, The Ghost of a Future Dead by At the Gates features his last recorded performances captured just before he underwent surgery. The album also marks the significant return of founding guitarist Anders Björler to the songwriting helm, delivering a sound that intentionally recalls the ferocity of their landmark records.

FAILURE – LOCATION LOST
Failure explores themes of disconnection and recovery on their expansive seventh studio album, Location Lost, which features a rare vocal collaboration with Hayley Williams of Paramore on the track “The Rising Skyline.” The record was heavily influenced by frontman Ken Andrews’ near-death experience during surgery and was crafted from hours of raw trio improvisations refined in his home studio.

FOO FIGHTERS – YOUR FAVORITE TOY
Foo Fighters embrace a high-energy, raw aesthetic on their twelfth studio album Your Favorite Toy, which marks their first full-length recording with former Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin. With Harper Grohl providing background vocals on the title track, it is the third Foo Fighters album to feature one of Dave Grohl‘s daughters.
Violet Grohl, whose debut album is out May 29th, previously appeared on 2020’s Medicine at Midnight and 2023’s But Here We Are.

THE LEAVING – ULTIMATE BUZZ
The Leaving, a new collaboration between Martin Doherty and Jonny Scott of CHVRCHES, are releasing their debut album Ultimate Buzz. The record was written and recorded in various cities while the duo was on tour, capturing a sense of transition and the “mental collapse” explored in tracks like “Saved” and “Fluoxetine.”

THE SADDEST LANDSCAPE – ALONE WITH HEAVEN
The Saddest Landscape returns with the emotionally charged Alone with Heaven, which features a haunting collaboration with Julien Baker of boygenius on the track “The Invisible Hurt.” This double album serves as a significant milestone for the band as it marks their first full-length release in a decade and features some of the final recordings captured by the late Steve Albini.

SEPULTURA – THE CLOUD OF UNKNOWING
Sepultura‘s farewell release The Cloud of Unknowing EP is a four-track collection that serves as a creative bookend to the band’s legendary career. This release is particularly notable as it marks the first and only studio recording to feature 23 year old former Suicidal Tendencies drummer Greyson Nekrutman, who joined the lineup following the departure of Eloy Casagrande in 2024.

WOLFMOTHER – ROCK OUT (LEX)
Marking its official debut on vinyl and CD, Wolfmother presents the Rock Out (Lex), a high-fidelity reimagining of their self-produced pandemic project. To elevate the original home recordings for this physical release, singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale collaborated with veteran engineer Niklas Flyckt to provide a professional, polished mix.
