SILVERSUN PICKUPS – TENTERHOOKS
Tenterhooks, Silversun Pickups‘ seventh studio album captures a raw and “impatient” energy; a direction spurred by a harrowing health scare where frontman Brian Aubert suffered a ruptured eardrum and required a blood transfusion during the recording process.
This leaner, ten-track record sees the group reuniting for their third straight album with legendary producer Butch Vig to create a sound featuring aggressive guitars and a signature “Cure-esque” bassline from Nikki Monninger on the lead single “The Wreckage.”
