MANIC STREET PREACHERS – THE HOLY BIBLE LIVE
The Holy Bible is arguably the darkest and most aggressive album from Manic Street Preachers. It was the final album to feature lyrics co-written by Richey Edwards before his disappearance in 1995. The band’s 2009 LP Journal for Plague Lovers is a spiritual sequel to The Holy Bible, with all of the lyrics being pulled from Richey Edwards‘ journals and notes.
The Holy Bible Live was recorded at The Roundhouse in London in 2014 in celebration of the album’s 20th anniversary.

With a change in name to Spike and the Gimme Gimmes, this new album doesn’t have a unified theme other than being a collection of ‘greatest pop & rock hits’ with covers of The Beach Boys, Cyndi Lauper, Backstreet Boys, Outkast, Duran Duran, Eddie Money, Boyz II Men and more.
