A wild Minnesota United game Saturday against the Portland Timbers ended in a 4-4 draw. After surrendering a Timber’s goal in the first half minute, the United scored three unanswered goals to lead 3-1 at half. Portland then scored three in a row to go ahead 4-3 before Luis Amarilla’s scored the equalizer. It was a aggressively contested game, with nine yellow cards combined for both teams.
The Minnesota United play again Saturday at Colorado, and play at home again on August 20th against Austin FC.
