The Minnesota United completed their Leagues Cup round-robin games with a 3-2 loss against the Chicago Fire Thursday night. It was a quiet first half, ending 0-0, but the Loons held 1-0 and 2-1 leads in the second half off of Bongokuhle Hlongwane goals. Chicago answered back to tie and eventually pull ahead in the 83rd minute. The United advanced to the round of 32 in Leagues Cup, and will face the Columbus Crew in Columbus on Friday.
