ATREYU – THE BEAUTIFUL DARK OF LIFE
Twelve of the fifteen songs on Atreyu‘s latest album were released throughout 2023 on their three EPs The Hope of a Spark, The Moment You Find Your Flame and A Torch In the Dark.
Those 12, with the inclusion of “Insomnia”, “Dancing with My Demons” and “The Beautiful Dark of Life”, make up the band’s ninth studio album, The Beautiful Dark of Life.

DIMMU BORGIR – INSPIRATIO PROFANUS
Black metal band Dimmu Borgir are set to release a covers album called Inspiratio Profanus which collects covers they did from across their 30-year career.
The collection features renditions of songs originally performed by Celtic Frost and Venom as well as Deep Purple and Twisted Sister among others.

Alternative space rockers Hum, who had a #11 hit on the US Modern Rock Charts with their single “Stars” will reissue four of their five albums this week.
This includes the 1993 sophomore album Electra 2000, 1995’s You’d Prefer an Astronaut (which contains “Stars”), 1998’s Downward Is Heavenward (featuring three bonus tracks) and their 2020 reunion album, Inlet.

THE KILLERS – REBEL DIAMONDS
Celebrating over twenty years as a band and presented in chronological order, The Killers’ Rebel Diamonds features 17 from each of their seven studio albums, including two 2022 non-album singles and the brand new song, “Spirit”.

Progressive rockers Porcupine Tree released their eleventh studio album, Closure/Continuation last year. It was their first new LP since 2009.
Closure/Continuation.Live was recorded live November 2022 at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

Originally released in 2011 as a 2CD+2DVD set, Shinedown‘s live Somewhere in the Stratosphere will be issued on vinyl for the very first time this week. The 4LP set is available through Shinedown’s webstore.
