Minnesota United secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City at Allianz Field on Saturday, April 27th. Minnesota got off to a quick start with defender Michael Boxall scoring in the 2nd minute and Tani Oluwaseyi adding another goal in the 25th minute. Sporting Kansas City pulled one back through Alan Pulido in the 37th minute but were unable to find an equalizer as Minnesota held on for the close win.
The Loons don’t return home until May 15th against LA Galaxy, but play in Atlanta this Saturday, May 4th.
