Critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett returns this week with her first release since 2021’s Things Take Time, Take Time.
End of the Day is a 17-track collection of improvisations originally intended as the score for to Anonymous Club; a 2021 documentary about Barnett’s private life.

BEASTIE BOYS – HELLO NASTY 25TH ANNIVERSARY BOX SET
Beastie Boys are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the multi-Platinum fifth album, Hello Nasty, by reissuing the 22-track classic album in 4LP vinyl box set with an additional 21 bonus tracks. The bonus tracks were previously made available on the 2009 remaster of the album.

England’s The Coral are releasing two albums this week. Holy Joe’s Coral Island Medicine Show is a sequel of sorts to their 2021 double album, Coral Island.
Sea of Mirrors is a “surreal Italian spaghetti western soundtrack.”

FLEETWOOD MAC – RUMOURS LIVE
Recorded in August 1977, every song from Fleetwood Mac‘s Rumours Live is previously unreleased, with the exception of “Gold Dust Woman” which appeared as a bonus track on the 2021 reissue of 1980’s Live.
According to the Rumours Live liner notes:
“…most of these live versions are more muscular, more ferocious, than the album recordings, driven by the powerhouse [Mick] Fleetwood-John McVie rhythm section and [Lindsey] Buckingham’s febrile guitar playing…“

Oomph!, like Rammstein, hail from Germany and also play Neue Deutsche Härte (“New German Hardness”; a subgenre of rock most famously popularized by the aforementioned Rammstein.
Richter und Henker (“judge and executioner”) is the Oomph!‘s fourteenth album, and first with new lead vocalist Der Schulz. Richter und Henker is the follow up Ritual (2019), which went to #1 in Germany.

Bird Machine is the first solo posthumous release from Sparklehorse since singer Mark Linkous‘ death in 2010.
Intended to be the follow up to 2006’s Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain, most of the music on Bird Machine was recorded in 2009, with additions to the songs being made by Linkous’ siblings Matt and Melissa.
