Washington, D.C.’s The Messthetics (jazz-punk trio featuring Fugazi‘s Brendan Canty and Joe Lally) previously collaborated with saxophonist/composer James Brandon Lewis on the 2022 single “Fear Not.”
They’re expanding their collaboration this week with the release of their 9-song debut album, The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis.

NIGHT VERSES – EVERY SOUND HAS A COLOR IN THE VALLEY OF NIGHT: PART 2
Part One of Night Verses‘ double album Every Sound Has a Color In The Valley of Night arrived in September 2023, and featured a guest appearance from Tool bassist Justin Chancellor.
Part 2 arrives this week and features vocals from Brandon Boyd of Incubus on the single “Glitching Prisms.”

Mand Af En Tid is former White Lion vocalist Mike Tramp‘s second solo album to be sung entirely in Danish. His first Danish language album was 2022’s For Første Gang.
